I liked Sharon Stone. I admired her because I thought she was a truly compassionate person after I had heard her speak several times in different interviews. One interview that really impressed me much and made me think very highly of her was her appearance at The Actors Studio TV show in 1999. Since then, I had been her admirer and supporter, now, after what she has said about how it was probably karma what caused the Chinese earthquake killing thousands of innocents.....I don't know, I don't know if I am going to continue to be an admirer of her. It saddens me, because her stupid remarks remind me of another hateful person: Jerry Falwell, when he said:
"AIDS is not just God's punishment for homosexuals; it is God's punishment for the society that tolerates homosexuals”
So, for Sharon Stone is karma what punishes and kills innocent people in a horrific way? How is Sharon Stone any different from Jerry Falwell?
Pathetic

Bill Henson is an Australian photographer who has had a passion for naked art, which I am totally for, as long as the bodies being photographed are those of adult men and women, not those of teenagers, not those of children. That is simply wrong. Bill Henson's photographs have been, gladly for me, removed by the Albury Regional Art Gallery
This is not art. Naked pictures of children is NOT art.
From article:
NSW police have seized 20 of 41 photographs from Bill Henson's Sydney exhibition of adolescent girls with the intention of launching criminal proceedings under the Child Protection Act.
Albury Council took down three of the photographer's pictures late Friday, more than a month since they went on display.
The move came as police prepared to lay charges after more than 20 Henson photographs, labelled "absolutely revolting'' by Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, were seized from Sydney's Roslyn Oxley9 Gallery.![]()

In my private medical practice I have been noticing an incredible increase of STDs medical cases. And it amazes me that with all the information out there available to everyone, people still don't get it and still practice sex without protection, just because "it's not pleasurable enough with a condom". Patients know about the terrible consequences of having multiple partners and having sex without any kind of protection, but they still do it, and I ask myself why, why do they put their precious life at risk. We all know, that some STDs can kill us, some STDs, like HIV or Human Papiloma Virus can/are deadly.
I hope more people realize that the consequences of an irresponsible sexual behavior can shorten their life spam as well as the lives of those ones they sexually infect.
DATA: Currently, there are approximately 400 to 500 million people infected with some sort of an STD worldwide, including men and women of all economic backgrounds. If we take in consideration that we are about 6 billion people in the globe, that means that about 8.33% of the entire population of the world is infected. Sad, no?

It was right about time to have same sex marriage legal in California, good, lovely, that is what we need, even though I don't like marriage for myself (it gives me the creeps, lol) I think it should be available to all adults who wish to legalize their union to make some matters of importance, like income taxes, wills, power of attorneys, adopting children, having rights and obligations over one another, etc., valid and dignify the lives of millions of gays and lesbians.

Apparently, this stage wasn't that difficult for Andreas Kloden and neither for Levi Leipheimer, since they seemed to be enjoying themselves along the road. Good for them.
