"It's the most beautiful day of my life. I didn't expect to win. I couldn't dream of anything better, Hincapie helped me enormously, but the whole team stayed with me on the climbs. When Haussler broke away at top speed I was scared, but it makes the victory even sweeter." ~said Mark Cavendish

What a win! Cavendish proves again he's the king.
ReplyDeleteThat was absolutely impressive!
ReplyDeleteAle ale ale! Vamos Cavo, ale...jajaja.
ReplyDeleteLance Armstrong finished in 125th place.

ReplyDeleteObsessed with Lance, aren't you?
Bravo, Cavendish!
Oh no, my Tommy lost...15 place...
ReplyDeleteMark Cavendish was in great form though and deserved to win. Good for you, Cav.
FlordeTJ, Tom Boonen might never win Milan-San Remo if he doesn't prepare himself seriously. IMHO the only race that he owns is the Qatar cycling race. His best years were 2005 and 2006.
ReplyDeleteRoland, watch out, you'll see how Tommy will surprise us next year with tons of cycling race winnings. He's had 2 tough years, but he will overcome all problems just to become victorious in 2010. He still young.
ReplyDeleteNice, really nice. Cav is here to stay
ReplyDeleteLOL, did you guys notice how excited the Italian commentator got when Cavendish was crossing the finish line? It was hilarious.
ReplyDeletehahaha... noticed that too, Mondo76, it was at 2:13 when he's saying: "Cavendish, Cavendish, photo finish" and he goes like...ahahah...it is HILARIOUS, it is.
ReplyDeleteNICE!
ReplyDeleteIt is thrilling to see the finish of an exciting bike race. Thanks for the video, very awesome.
