Tom Boonen Will Race 2009 Tour De France

It is been confirmed, Tom Boonen IS in the Quick Step cycling team roster for this 2009 Tour de France that starts tomorrow!

"After the decision announced by the CAS on Friday, Tom Boonen will be at the start of the 2009 Tour de France. The tour's management believes that, considering the great champion that Tom is, he will relish the oportunity that has been given to him and he will have an exemplary attitude during the event." ~the Tour organization released to the press.
"We can confirm the ruling by the French Olympic Committee, and that Tom Boonen will start the Tour de France on Saturday," ~ a team spokesman told AFP.
What does this news mean for Australian sprinter, Allan Davis? That he's out of the Quick Step roster for the TDF.

You made my day, LS! You know how much I love my Tommy.

Flor, tell Tommy to quit snoring cocaine! We don't want another Pantani, do we?

Come on, Thinker, why don't we enjoy cycling and the tour without trying to belittle cyclists, pretty please?

I was just kidding, Flor. But seriously, remember what happened to Pantani. Tom Boonen is a very good cyclist but unfortunately lacks a lot of good judgement.
I know the ladies have a crush on him. Ask my wife. She adores him too.

Tom Boonen is a good cyclist, but not good enough for the grand tours. He's ok for one day races.

I agree w/Med Student. Boonen is a good sprinter, not an endurance rider.
Anyways, it's good to have him in the tour.
