$10 K Bicycle Stolen from Armstrong's Mellow Johnnys

A very expensive Trek Equinox TTX SSL that costs $10,000 USD and that has the team member Ryan Baumann's name on the top tube and it's custom-painted Bontrager aero bars, has been stolen from the Lance Arsmtrong's bicycle shop, Mellow Johnny's, located in Austin, Texas.

Mellow Johnny's Manager Robbie Brennan said:

"...the theft is very disheartening. It's surprising, given the season. You know, it's Thanksgiving. It's more of a time for, you know, giving. So, we're all pretty bummed out that this happened," Brennan said.

Brennan also said that:

"...it is highly unlikely that whoever stole the bike can sell or pawn it. There are only 10 like it in the world."
