This is such a bad news. I was all getting ready to enjoy and follow this year 2011 Tour de France, but Alberto Contador's doping hearing case date has been postponed for after this cycling event. What a shame. Oh well, there is always 2012.

Albuterol Contadoper!

ReplyDeleteLOL, good one.
I think ASO would block Contador for TDF11. If not, Andy would be in serious trouble
ReplyDeleteNo one has ever won a case at CAS against a governing body ..... This is just going to get messier & messier!

ReplyDeleteI hope Andy Schleck is wearing yellow in Paris.
Dope and win, no sin. I once thought Contador was well on his way to being one of the greatest. Now, I doubt every win he's ever had. Ironically, it's those tasked with creating a fair, level, and clean race that has tarnished his legacy for me, and many others. This sport is in a worse nose dive than ever in it's history. Truly Sad.

ReplyDeletePredictable, but shameful!...
ReplyDeleteWhat if he wins the Tour again? will he be stripped of his 2010 and 2011 wins?!!
Riders that are tested positive should be suspended until a final decision is made. Contador never should have been able to ride the Giro. (Very bad image for Cycling that a proven cheat won the Giro)
ReplyDeleteLooking at the past, we've had dozens of riders saying i didnt do anything, riders crying just to admit a few months later of doping. Looking at Contador...well...he was cleared off fuentes list, a rider marked as "AC", now he tested positive...well innocent he sure isn't!
