Whole Foods Infected Cheese with Listeria Outbreak
Whole Foods Market stores across the country, including in Oregon, announced a recall on Monday of cheese in a fatal listeria outbreak. The stores are pulling Les Frères Crave Brothers cheese after five people became infected with the bacteria, including one who died. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said the person who died lived in Minnesota. The four others who became ill -- in Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota and Ohio -- had to be hospitalized and one woman had a miscarriage.
